Almost all of us love perfume. When we have a date or when there is special occasion, we cannot go outside without pampering first our selves with beautiful scents. But scents now a days are becoming expensive, especially those designer scents. Of course you would like to create your own signature scent that hang around the room even you already left it; a scent that stays on your body for 24 hours?

Are you excited to have your own perfume, own brand name and make a unique scent specifically your own aroma? Or probably start a perfumery? Who knows this article would be just your timing break in making perfume business? Making a par fume is very easy; I will guide you until you finish your very own scent. Please read the whole article and enjoy your scent.

Here is how to prepare:

Base notes: cinnamon, cedar, patchouli, vanilla, sandal wood and amber.

Middle notes: geranium, clove, nutmeg, honey, lemon grass, ylang-ylang, neroli, sampaguita and rose.

Top notes: lavender, bergamot, lime, lemon, orange, rose, cocoa, jasmine and orchids.

The first thing to consider is choosing the right oils. Essential oils will be your base in making perfume. The essentials act as binder to combine base notes, middle notes and top notes. These three notes, when combined together are called formula. The base notes are the dominant scent. This is what you smell in perfume that lingers on clothes for many hours and it gives a captivating smell.

After you have prepared the three notes, prepare a container. Bottle container is the best for essences. Never use plastic container as this will react to the oil. Okay, you have the three notes and the clean bottle. Now take 10 drops of base notes and drop them in the bottle, next take 10 drops of middle notes and another 10 drops of top notes. Let this mixture stand for at least 24 hours, the longer you will let the mix stand the better. And it is also best to place them in the refrigerator.

After 24 hours you are now ready for the final stage.

What to prepare: the mixture of essential oils, graduated cylinder, glass bottle, distilled water, perfume stabilizer.

Scents are divided into different categories, such as par fumes which constitute about 20% to 25% essential oils. EDT which constitutes about 15% essential oils, adult cologne is 10% essential oils, youth cologne is 5% essential oils and baby cologne is 2.5% aroma oils.

Today I am going to teach you EDT perfume. Of course the whole process are the same, you just have to reduce the percentage of essentials oils according to what I have just written earlier.

In a graduated cylinder, pour about 85% perfume stabilizer. A graduated cylinder has its lines and numbers visible, just pour the solution up to number 85. By the way this perfume stabilizer is also the main component in making ethyl alcohol.

Next pour 15% essential oils gradually and see how the essential oil is being diluted and after that add gradually 5% distilled water. There it is your finished perfume product. You can wear them at once or keep it but basically your own perfume is ready to use. You can create a unique name, it depends on you how you call your perfume. One thing important is, do not use mineral water, because mineral water in a long run will react to the scent, just purely distilled water.
